About us

We have been operating since 2019. The company is run by Andi and Bez Roberts, together we have over 20 years racing and riding experience. Bez also acts as a guide if you want the full VIP service. We can organize day trips, overnight rides and also weekly tours. We are based in Hartbeespoort but we can arrange for the bike or bikes to be delivered to you at your accommodation or we can come to meet you.

Bike hire

We have a wide selection of mountain and road bikes which cost between R450 to R850 per day. If you're unable to pick up the bike / If you would prefer us to drop off and collect the bike after your done, this costs an additional R200 for the first bike and R100 for each additional bike thereafter, within a 10km radius. If further, it will cost slightly more.

E.g Hiring 3 Scott aspect mtb's for 1 day, with drop off/collection, within 10km radius:
(R399 x 3) + (R200 + R100 + R100)
R1200 + R400 = R1600

Guided bike tours

Your own personal guide (Bez Roberts) can collect you from your accommodation in Pretoria, Johannesburg or surrounding areas (Hartbeespoort, Magaliesburg, etc), take you to the best trails or roads in the Cradle of Humankind and ride with you.
Personal guide fee:
Half-day 9am to 12pm or 2pm to 5pm R800
Full-day 9am to 5pm R1200
Our overnight MTB ride is a big favorite. We ride up the valley from Hartbeespoort, up the pass in to the mountains to the mountain sanctuary camp where we sleep for the night. Camping or self catering is available. We then ride back the next day. We aim to do 75 kilometers per day. We can also craft any trip you would like, multiple days, all around South Africa. We organize trips with accommodation to the Cape, Loweld or the Drakensburg mountains from backpacking/camping all the way up to self catering or 5 star hotels.

Hiking trips and guided walks

Explore a range of hiking experiences, from leisurely 5k walks to overnight treks and multi-day adventures. Your dedicated guide, Bez, will accompany you every step of the way. Choose from numerous routes, whether it's a local exploration around the Pretoria/Johannesburg area, including the cradle of humankind, Hartbeespoort, and Magaliesberg mountains, or the Suikerbossie mountains for a more extensive adventure. If you have more time and more adventure in mind, we can head down to the majestic Drakensburg mountains or the scenic Lowveld, encompassing the beautiful White River and Pilgrims Rest area. Rest assured, safety is a priority—we provide a 24hr armed response panic button, though in our five years of operation, it has never been needed. For overnight and multi-day trips, customize your experience by specifying daily walking distances and accommodation preferences. Whether you prefer camping, self-catering, or a hotel stay, simply let us know, and we'll curate a dream trip tailored to your desires.
